| "Functional" best describes the Daliana of GA Ferries, a company which specialises in operating former Japanese ferries on its domestic Greek services (although the fleet also includes the former Townsend Free Enterprise VIII). Built in 1970 as Ferry Pearl for Japanese domestic service, the ship came to Greece in 1988 at the same time as sister Ferry Gold (now Milena). |

| BELOW: Although I have been unable to locate a picture of the ship as Ferry Pearl, the conversion on arrival in Greece was seemingly quite major although the evidence of this is not as noticeable as on some ships, the Daliana managing to maintain a roughly balanced profile. |
