BELOW: A view astern in the bar, looking towards the area of Le Moulin à Mer.
BELOW: Looking forward in Le Ponant during Quiberon's final weeks in service with Brittany Ferries. There is unsurprisingly nothing to trace the area to its former incarnation as part of the forward restaurant; however (as in the restaurant and cafeteria) Brittany again seem as reluctant to part company with their tables as they seem keen to replace chairs - the tables in this view appearing to be those originally used in the old bar (later Le Moulin à Mer teabar).

Carved out of the starboard side of the original restaurant in the 1990 refit, bar Le Ponant was fitted out in a typically contemporary Brittany Ferries style, with the blue and black colour scheme somewhat similar to that in the aft Les Alizés bar aboard fleetmate Barfleur.
BELOW: Looking into the small bar/restaurant adjunct, forward on the port side. In this view it is laid out for serving breakfast, but was also used as a bar extension if needed.

ABOVE & BELOW: Two views of Le Ponant bar on board the Giulia d'Abundo. The space is structurally unchanged, save for the addition of rather cheap-looking laminate flooring in place of the previous carpetting.
