Above: After less than two years service with GA Ferries, the Anthi Marina has now been brought up to the fleet standard for grime, dirt and dubious maintenance.

Above: Ship Number 24, Nova Ferries' Phivos. Originally the Spanish Punta Europa, we last saw her looking decidedly derelict in Algeciras in May 2003. A comprehensive refurbishment has seen the ship emerge with outstandingly comfortable interiors which easily make her and sister Athina, the best ships on their route out of Piraeus.

Above: On board the Speedrunner I, essentially unchanged from her English Channel days. After disembarking from the Speedrunner I in Serifos, the Agios Georgios formed the final return leg overnight to Piraeus, concluding the trip. There was time for another wander around the dockyards to inspect the Okeanis in dry dock the following morning, but after that it was time to get to Athens airport and fly back to the UK.
